I come with a message from your dead grandmother! She says “Don’t be tempted by subscription boxes as a fun way to homeschool your kid. Most of them have terrible customer service, they’re not sustainable business models, and you’re usually spending money each month of things that will be gifted to someone else.”
Wow, your grandma was awesome. While there are a FEW subscription boxes that aren’t terrible for now, magazines are really the way to go. They encourage reading, even for the kiddos that don’t like to read books. You can recycle them in a dozen ways. Here’s a list of our favorites:
